The GPS-BT100Y is a total solution of GPS Bluetooth wireless technology, is dedicated design for the user who is usually carry the portable device such as PDAs/smart phones all the time. GPS-BT100Y is based on Skytraq's low power chipset, which allows 17 hours continuous use to stand-by time more than 1000 hours with a single battery charge. GPS-BT100Y Bluetooth GPS receiver works to all Bluetooth smart phones, laptop PC, PDA regardless of brand in an operating range of more than 10 meters. The high performance high sensitivity GPS-BT100Y is an ideal receiver to be used in any strict weather condition, so to easily find your way.

Features:

Auto On/Off with motion sensor - BT-100Y offers dual stage power management. GPS shuts off first when there is no active Bluetooth connection. When there is no motion, both Bluetooth and GPS function will shut off completely. Both GPS and Bluetooth function wake up with movement and ready to be used.

Great Performance - BT-100Y combines high sensitivity 54 ch. chipset with A-GPS technology to download ephemeris data from Skytraq's AGPS server. The time-to-first-fix (TTFF) is greatly reduced from minutes to under 5 seconds!

Excellent Accuracy - BT-100Y has an exceptional accuracy of WAAS which makes it ideal for detailed turn-by-turn navigation and geocaching.

Assisted GPS

With Assisted GPS technology, GPS Data (ephemeris data) will be downloaded from an A-GPS Server through internet and transferred to the BT-100Y GPS via Bluetooth. This will greatly reduce the TTFF since the positions of the satellites are known. The downloaded GPS data will expire in few days if the GPS is not being used. If GPS receiver is being used on daily basis, GPS data will also be downloaded from satellites.
